In February, 2015 I made my first trip to Nepal to participate in NELTA2015 (NELTA = Nepal English Language Teachers Association). I did a couple intensive training sessions for before the conference. This page is mostly to share pictures with the teachers who attending.
Note to the teachers: Thanks so much for participating. You are wonderful.
I'll leave this page at the top of the website for a week or two, then I'll move it lower. But it will be here for a long time.
Here are some group photos*

Up on the roof, we did a "PowerPost activity". Here are some shots of that. To get a copy of the handout (to use with your students or just to understand what we were doing, click here. For more information, click here and scroll down to "Power Poses".
On the first day, I promised to make the "Success comes in cans, Failure comes in cannots" slide into a pdf.
I am very happy that Gita Kafle of Nandi Seconday School , Naxal, Kathmandu won a class library (thank you Pearson Education and the Extensive Reading Foundation!). She'll be doing Extensive Reading with her students.
